Member Eligibility

All companies that hold active Certificates of Consent to Self-Insure are, by law, members of the Security Fund.  Companies who hold revoked Certificates of Consent to Self-Insure are also members, so long as they have open claims.  Companies that are declared in default by the Department of Industrial Relations relinquish their membership by operation of law.
